My husband put some tomato soup down the garbage disposal in the kitchen. After running the disposal, the laundry sink (in the garage) filled with tomato soupy water. It drained fine overnight. However, I ran a small load of laundry today and the sink would not drain out the laundry water. The washing machine still has a bit of water in it as well.
I’m assuming the disposal has a clog that is connected to the sink, but I’m not sure of the best way to clear it. It’s an old house (built in the late 60s/early 70s) and the washing machine has a tube that drains into the sink next to it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The water drains very slowly in my bathroom sink. At the end there seems to be bubbles of air bursting through. I have already checked underneath by unscrewing the siphon cup to clean it of gunk. There is none. What else can I do besides opening up the rest of the drain tube which I want to avoid. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.
It eventually accumulates to the point that the drain gets backed up, draino doesn’t really help. We have to take the whole stopper part out and pull out the gunk. It doesn’t happen in my other sinks.
there is a little bit of hair in it, but it is not hair. when i plunge the sink it comes out in little bits, almost flat and black like a piece of a wet rotting leaf is how i would describe it.
