We are in remodel of our kitchen, and we’re nearing the completion as we just had our granite counter tops installed. The counter top order also came with a sink. But I noticed that we were not provided any drain covers or strainers. Do sinks usually come with these things? Or do you buy them separate, or does your plumber have those?
Yea there’s nothing on their website, so I’ll have to call to see if they recommend anything.
What about drain covers though? It looks like something our plumber will need when he hooks up the faucet.

When we redid our kitchen I noticed that some sinks included the strainers and others did not. Look up your model sink and see if they were supposed to be included. If so, call the manufacturer and they’ll send them to you, if not, you’ll have to buy some at the hardware store.
Response: I’d call your plumber and ask him. Our sinks came with both the stainers and covers and the plumber just installed them, he didn’t provide parts for the sink, just the installation under the sink.
It can vary with supplier and make but generally you need to ask for what fittings you require.Just like taps, you have to ask as there are many to choose from.
Sinks usually come without. When you buy your faucet you buy a matching drain. Would look pretty funny with polished brass faucet and chrome drain.
some do some don’t. you can buy these at a dollar store very very cheep
