The center section needs a rubber ring around the "plunger" to obtain a tight fit and not let the water run out of the sink. I can find thousands of baskets, but no one to sell me a replacement for the rubber ring which has disintigrated.

I am running a 2" washer drain into 3" ABS drain pipe. I’ve got to cut the 3" ABS pipe to put a T connector in. The pipe is hanging from the ceiling. How do I do this in a graceful way and make decent straight cuts?

I am doing a new full bathroom. i have the sink vented to a 3" roof vent, i have a toilet, shower, and bathtub connected to a 3" drain pipe and vented with a 3" pipe to roof. Do i need to vent the shower and bathtub individually and connected them to the 3" vent or is the 3" vent from the main line enough?

it has gone down the sink’s pipe just slightly but it still is out of reach. the bottle cap that fell down while i was cleaning the sinks strainer and put it up to dry on my dish rack a moment before the cap accidently fell in the sink’s basin and down the drain. the cap is just slightly smaller than the actual sink’s drain thus, the cap is just bobbing like a cork about 8" inches down the sink. i tried to get it out with tweezers but the tweezers inevitably were not long enough to reach. any ideas on how to go about getting this out myself without having to call a plumber just yet?

We’re in the process of installing a dishwasher. We’ve got everything except the drain line hooked up. Their was a prexisting water line & electrical outlet. The pipes were replaced before we bought the house so no pre-existing drain or garbage disposal.
We bought a pipe from home depot that will has a nipple that we can attach the drain to.
The piece is 1 1/2" and we need to outfit it onto 2" black pvc pipes. There is no room between the p-trap and the sink on the right. No room to drop the p-trap closer to the floor.
The sink on the left has an 90 degree elbow pipe that fits onto the long part of a T pipe from the right sink. Below the T pipe is the P-trap. We’re attempting to add the piece we’ve purchased into the long area of the T pipe. We’re having trouble finding couplers that are 1 1/2" to 2".
Should we go about installing this piece another way? Any suggestions? We’re stumped. We really do not want to install a garbage disposal, or call a plumber.
Thanks!

We purchased and installed a bar sink from Home Depot – there were only two of them and . The only diff. in the is that it was 2" deeper. My problem is that the water leaves water stains constantly and the bottom doesn’t drain all the way. Are bar sinks supposed to be flat bottom? It was installed properly…… What can we do? Please help!

I have read similar questions and answers from the archives. & Used what tips were offered. I’ve tried drano & it does not do anything. It simply sits there. Water too. When attempting to use the garbage disposal it just spits up bubbles on each side. I’ve taken apart both "u" shaped pipes under the sink & there appeared to be no obstruction to cause this slow drainage. Though when loosening the nuts the water drained from them and into the bucket leading me to beleive that, that is not where my problem lies. HELP!

I’m installing a new double vanity and the drain pipe (which is coming from the wall) is about 4" to the right of where the sink drain hole is. Is this a problem? What parts do I need?

Left side is installed w/ a garbage disposal and right side is a standard strainer. Both tie to a single PVC drain line below that drains to the right within 24" of both a dry stack riser and drainage to city services. Water to the left side drains OK but w/ gurgling on right side strainer. Right side is just slow. I think it might be a lack of adequate air supply to the right side. Will an air gap between l/ drain and r/ drain help ?
All the PVC pieces over to the old steel dry/wet stacks are brand new.
